Removing firing pin

I recently ventured into this very exercise for my Rem 700.

After looking at several youtube vids i realized the string method would likely drive me nuts and add stress to my life (job is stressful enough - at home peace must rule!).

So for ~$19 i bought this nifty firing pin assembly removal tool:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZN50W6O/?tag=lrhmag19-20

It is sooo easy to use and makes the "job" fun and absolutely not stressful.

Also, since disassembling the bolt was what i wanted to do, i picked up a firing pin disassembly tool:
https://www.midwestgunworks.com/product-display.html?Product_Code=SIN22500

and this ejector compression tool:
https://www.midwestgunworks.com/product-display.html?Product_Code=SIN22550

So for around $80 i can completely disassemble a Rem 700 bolt with minimal (zero?) hassle and can do so in my home office (not even have to go into the garage).

Nothing Like having the proper tools :)

For years I did things the hard way, and then decided that tools were part of the build cost and never looked back.

If PT&G will ever get my firing pin to me i'll have an exciting time putting it all back together and seeing how well it works.

Thanks for the advice to replace my bent pin!
