Decided to sell in order to fund another build. Trued Remington 700 SA, 24" Bartlein M24 contour, 1-10 twist barrel chambered in 308 Win Match. SiCo ASR brake. Seekins 20 MOA base (bedded). 2200 rounds down the tube. Still holds 1/2 MOA with me behind the trigger…I'm not the best group shooter by a long shot.

Action work and barrel installed by Ken Porter @ Porters Precision Products. FDE Cerakote done by IA Coatings in Houston, Tx.

That's no lie. I try to teach him all I can. He likes to slap the trigger a lot…but he still shoots better than I do . Don't know how on earth he does it.

Figured because of the round count and the fact that it doesn't have a trigger I would knock it down a bit. Plus trying to get another action pinned down while I can.

Just curious about info on the bolt shroud.

It's a shooter for sure. Hate to let it go, but ever since I built my 14 yr old his own using an Origin I have the itch to get into the custom action game. Leaning towards another Origin or maybe even an Impact 737R.

The bolt shroud is the standard one that came with it. I just chucked it up in a lathe one day and figured I would give it its own look. Get a lot of guys on the range asking what custom action that is and then they notice it's a Remmy. The one laying off to the side in the photos is one I got from PTG years ago. Never put it on since everyone like the custom shroud I made.
