Reloading 280 AI which powders

Tagging in here as I'm doing load development for a 280 AI right now. I've heard that H4831 is the secret sauce for the 280 AI
4831sc is magic with the 160 accubond bullet, as they are unavailable currently I am using Berger 168 VLD's. Hodgdon reloading page mentions the H1000 powder but a fairly wide range in drops

56g of IMR 7828, Federal 210, 175g Long range accubond, .003 off the lands shoots groups less than .300 in my 27", 9T X Caliber barrel. I am using 30/06 brass formed from PMC new brass, formed with 14.6g of bullseye and cream of wheat...brass is tough. I also use Lapua in another rifle formed from 06 brass, same way. The groups right after the fire forming with cream of wheat shot tiny groups. That lapua brass is super tough, I have not lost a primer pocket yet running some high pressures at times. I also formed brass from NEW lake city Match brass, this brass shoots well, also but I have not shot it enough to tell how tough the primer pockets are.

7828 with the 160-168g bullets with the federal 210 also shoot small groups, but I opted for the 175 due to how hard it anchors deer and hogs.

For some reason, the Federal 210 with the 7828 groups the smallest. We load at the rifle range and test all primers.

Primers do make a difference.

What are you using for your 168 grain bullet? I have the 160's covered with h4831sc but there are no accubonds to be found. That's why went Berger vld's in the 140 and 168.

My load development for 280, is h-4831 55.2gr, CCI large bench rest primer, and 168 berger's 2,725 FPS and it shoots .2 MOA with that load. Also, using Peterson brass and .010 off lands.
