Hi, I live in Nothren California. The citty of Redding. Need a place to shoot out to 1000yd.

Sac Valley has a 1000yd range but it is restricted to members of the BR group or F-Class. They do have a 600 yd range also.

Tehema Shooters club east of Red Bluff has a 1K range. You have to become a member, but to use the 1K range at sac you have to become a member as well or show up at the 1K tactical shoot or the practice session the day before. Myself and another guy go out there the first weekend of every month and it is a good place to practice under some tactical timed conditions with really different types of wind. I would say if you wanted to go any time the Tehema club is for you.

I am in the process of putting together a 1K range out near platina but it is on private property and will not be 1K flat. Most of it is from the top of a hill down into a large valley.
