Rangefinders for Antelope

Was just on Leica's website, and it looks like they have a 1600-B unit now that advertises ranges out to 1600 yards, and upgraded ballistics software.

Everything else looks the same, so it would be logical that the unit will not range any better/worse than the 1600, but maybe in the mountains with a solid backdrop you might get some longer readings. I would guess just a software upgrade.

Have not spent any time to see if it is for sale anywhere yet, but would guess that it would be even more expensive...

I have not studied the "B" model, but can tell you I have ranged small trees (10' evergreens) past 1700 yards with the first model CRF 1600 in good conditions.
