Howdy, I picked up the 243/ 7.5twt from my LGS. I will start out by saying for the ones of us that are Mark V Weatherby fans. When the Vanguard came out, I had a hard time excepting it. Eventually I handle it and bought one. It took some getting used to it but I have 4 of them now. The same thing for the Model 307. When I first seen it the WOW FACTOR was not what I was hoping for. It is different. I got it home and took it all apart like I do with all rifles I buy. The action is nice, it operates smooth enough. You can cycle the bolt with the safety on,I like, the mag box length 2.795, ok, Magpul S 7.62x51. I can guess that aftermarket stocks and mag boxes will be available. The factory stock is ok, stiff enough, has visible features that work, just have to get used to it. Shooting it, it does shoot pretty good, last 3 shots after site in was good..6 moa at 100yrd using old factory Federal 100gr Power Shok. Trigger is ok can be adjusted or changed, Rem type. Conclusion is, it's different, first impression will vary from person to person. I can see some hating it and others liking it. The action is nice for the price to buy just the action. IMO Given a chance I hope to try reloads, looking at 110 A- tips, that's what I am using in my 240 7.5twt Mark V. Hope this helps. 👍
