Could you nitride the boltface, or the whole bolt for that matter, as a possible
preventative cure for leaky primer pockets, boltface erosion ?

I had another thought, why couldn't put into the boltface surface a .060" thick disc of titanium,
or something really hard. Drill out the firing pin hole and the ejector hole.
