Picked up my "Budget Build" from the smith yesterday afternoon, and I have to say that it turned out awesome! If it shoots half as good as it looks, it will be a killing machine!

It's throated for the Hornady 162 gr ELD-X.

Thanks Everyone! I was thinking about having the stock hydro dipped in KUIU Vais, but as NWPA0311 said, it does have a sinister look that would be ruined by camo.

I will be sure to keep y'all posted on how it shoots. I am going to try to send some lead down range this weekend, if I can find some time.

I do love your choice of cartridge. There is magic in .284 caliber bullets.

Thanks, this one has been a long time coming. Former member here "Eddybo", before he passed, helped get me started on this project. It is nice to have it in my hands, completed.

I agree, there is something special about the .284! :)
