PDA\'s What is needed for exbal and shooting

Looking at getting set up for long range shooting. Thinking about getting a PDA and exbal. I am very PDA IGNORANT. Prices from 50-$1000. What is need for a PDA for shooting only? What model and more important, HOW MUCH???

Exbal doesn't require much. Most any PDA or Pocket PC will work, just get the one with the features you want... battery life... color display.... ease of viewing in daylight (some type of screens are much better than others $$)... RAM... processor speed... etc, etc, etc....

Just start researching the PDA and PPC market to educate yourself on the features and the newest technology out there and decide what you really need/want for the cash you're laying out. Read the reviews etc and compare. I found one that I felt would be my next upgrade last summer, but it's probably out of date already or half the price by now. I think it was about $550 then...

The Compaq IPAQ has been rated "best pda" for several years running now. It has fast speed, a bright screen (important for outdoor use) upgradable memory cards, lightweight, and is fairly simple to use. Don't get in a hurry to buy one, and just keep your eyes on EBAY. They come on their fairly regular. I bought mine for $130 used. New, they can go up to $499.

If you are looking for a ton of info then you should do a search using "exbal" or "perry systems" and you will find a ton of previous post from this site with some very good information and advice.

Yea, ive tried the site, for some reason my computer isn't opening it. Im also trying to find out if this program will work on palm OS 3.1. I know their newest program says 3.5, Im just wondering if it will work on what ive got. Any body out there know, or have a phone number where I can talk to somebody who knows?
