Looking at a LNIB Conquest 4-16x44 with Z-MOA-T 64 reticle
I have never owned a Zeiss scope and not sure how they stack up with the rest of them in the $1000 range

Asking price is $900 and includes steel 30 mm Leupold rings

Thanks
Mike

I'll start it off, and will be one of many diverse opinions. I am mainly interested in performance in low light (the magic time when I see most animals). I consider Zeiss Conquest to be good mid grade glass and priced too high for what you get, I have owned three of them. I would put it below Swarovski or Leupold VX3. Some other glass that I've used and would say are about equal are Vortex Viper, Brunton, and Nikon Monarch; two of which are no longer made.

I own two v4's and one v6. I also own 2 vx5's and two vx6's. The best glass out of those is the v6. The others are to close to call. I can't say the leupold are better that the v4's.

I'm not a big fan
I owned a v4 and V6, both developed tracking issues.
The glass on the v4 was pretty bad in low light, and the V6 had a tight eyebox with glass equivalent to the vx5hd.
For 1k check out the LRHS2 or trijicon Tenmile.
If you're set on the V4 Redhawk rifles has demos for around $700
