I have for sale a 6.5/06 rifle for sale, the action was originally a SPS 270. The following is how it is now. this rifle shoots very well w/ groups well under 1" at 200 yds approaching 1/2" w/ Berger 140's. It is not bedded. email for pics
I'm selling to finance another rifle.

1. Trued Model 700 LA by Clay Spencer Matte (does not have Sako extractor)
2. Spencer 6.5 27" fluted barrel #7 1-9 Twist (round count is around 200) looks very good thru my borescope.
3. Muzzle break
4. Timiney (sp) Trigger
5. H&S black w/ grey webbing Stock
6. 1" Zee Rings and Weaver bases.
7. I'll include some Berger 130's and 140's bullets and other various 6.5 bullets
8. 6.5/06 Redding Dies
9. 6.5/06 O ring bore guide

Price is $1200.00 + shipping to FFL only unless you live in the Maryland area

I was shooting 52.5 gr H4831 w/ 140 Bergers at around 2950 fps. For close range (150 yds) hunting I used the 129 Hornady sp but never check the speed, but do they penetrate

1" 3 or 5 shot group, whats it weigh?

It's 11.6 lbs with the scope that is mounted which does not come w/ the rifle. I normally only shoot 3 shot groups unless I am in a match.

and I'll change the trigger to a 2 oz Hart no safety or bolt release
