I came into this set up brand new last July 2006. It was 1st mounted via Conetrol 2-pc bases and rings. I could'nt get it far enough forward to keep from hitting me between the eyes. I then put a Ken Farrel 1-pc picatinny base and TPS 1" low alum rings on. Truly enjoyed this scope. Just a few weeks back I was banging chest sized rocks out to 900 yds via dialing up from 100 yd zero.

Any way, I recently came into a little money and decided to upgrade to an IOR 3-18x42.

For the money, this Nikon

is a great scope. Light enough to keep a hunting rifle light yet powerful and clear enough to hit stuff way out. How clear? I was shooting 3/4 MOA groups out to 600 yds.

If you want the TPS 1" alum picatinny rings (stock # 30520; 2.76 oz per pair)
http://www.tacticalprecision.com/TSR%20Scope%20Rings.htm,

I'll throw them in for $40. Their $62.95 plus shipping from TPS or Brownells.

I also have the sunshade to add to the scope. $18.00.

The scope will go for $226.00

Shipping will by your choice and exact cost.

Sorry about my photography.
