NF Wedge Prism

That's a pretty clever idea. When light passes through a prism (think "triangular lens" with a base [btm] & apex [top]) the light rays are bent toward the base of the prism. For the person looking through the prism, the image appears to move toward the apex.

For every diopter of prism, the light (& image) are "shifted" by 1 centimeter, at a distance of 1 meter. Nightforce is using that principle to give us a sizable MOA/MIL 'shift' without having to dial the turrets. Just slide the device (prism) onto your scope and let the prism do the work vs. spinning the turrets a bunch of times & possibly running out of adjustment.

Taccom Alpha Tarac was the original of this and taccom is claiming they met with NF 2 years ago about licensing a version and NF passed and now are releasing this. Taccom isn't happy and NF is taking a beating for it
