I have never owned a NF, nor for that matter have I even seen one in person. The closest dealer to the Dallas Fort Worth area is 78 miles away. I have always used Leopold’s for my guns. After reading several posts here on this site, doing some searches, and talking to my gun smith I have decided to buy a NF scope. I’m looking at the 5.5 x 22 x 50, with the zero stop. The issue I have is that I’m not sure which reticle I should get, I was looking at the following, NP-R1, NP-R2, and the MLR. I have used the MOA method on my other scopes. The scope will be mounted on a 300 Jarrett, with a switch barrel 257 short throat Weatherby. Until I can scrape up enough money to have a new gun built. I have done some long range hunting on Mule Deer, and some Whitetail, as well as Coyotes. I have not done any shooting past 715 yards. So my question to the folks here that have experience with NF and their rectile choices is which one should I use? Thanks SC
