Newcon 1500yd rangefinder?

Has anyone bought one of these to try out? If so how did they work for you? I'm looking to pick one up if they work. Any comparison to Leica, Zeiss or Swaro? I'm sure the optics aren't great but does it range animals reliably? Thanks

No offense to anybody that has one of these but I bought one and sent it back after two days. Doesnt even remotely compare to a Leica. Old Bushnell style readout (dark numbers) difficult to see. Plastic/junky overall feel. Slow to read, limited battery life, bulky.

I have the Leica 1200 crf which is a fantastic piece of equipment and am in the process of upgrading to the Leica 1600.

I sent back a Newcon also. Battery life was VERY bad. Wouldn't range nearly as far as they said to expect. I forget exactly which model it was.
