I haven't shot them yet, but I really like the looks of the new 265's: From left to right: 200 AB, 210 SMK, 240 SMK, 265 Wildcat RBBT ULD, 300 SMK (338 cal). That's the nicest nose profile and meplat I've seen yet. This bullet should easily best the 300 SMK for BC and yes, I would bet on that. I'll wait for actual tests to put a number on it, but my WAAG is it won't even be close. So, it's on a different planet than the rest of the 30 cals we've had available up until now. That's the big thing. These are around 1.76" long so I'm pretty sure these are short enough to work from a 1:9. I'll know for sure soon enough. Unfortunately it'll be a couple of weeks before I get a chance to shoot them. I'll let you all know how they do. If all goes well, I'll be ordering a bucketfull. Or two. Richard made a pile of them so there are plenty available. As if you can't tell, I'm pretty excited about this bullet. I've been waiting for it for a looooonnnngggg time! Finally it's here!
