The new build is finished! Thanks for all of the input people gave in my other thread while I was planning the rifle. It took over 6 months to research all of my components and piece everything together before having my gunsmith put it all together. It turned out better than I could have hoped! Highly recommend the Terminator brake. This rifle with 230gr Bergers has less felt recoil than my 308 and is slightly more than my 6.5 Creedmoor.

Specs:
300 WSM (chambered for 230 Bergers with a COAL 3.255")
Stiller Tac 300 long action w/ 20 moa rail
Bartlein M24 barrel 26" long with 10" twist 5R
McMillan A5 stock
Terminator T3 brake
Timney 517 trigger
PTG bottom metal and AICS Mag
Burris Signature XTR rings
Scmidt & Bender PMII 3-20x50 with H59 reticle
Harris Bipod

I worked up some light loads to start with and it went 0.3" out of the gate. Can't wait to start working up some loads and stretching it out!

That'll tame down that 300 recoil. I'm a fan of heavy rifles as long as they balance for what they are being used for. I'd rather a 12 pound rifle that balances perfectly than a 7 pound rifle that isn't balanced.
