Hi Guys,
Just joined the site and hope to get some great info as well as give some! I just was thinking of getting a Savage lr-111 in 7mm to do just about anything for me.I have a custom sako in weatherby 300 mag. Any comments as to 7mm vs.6.5 x284 in that lr-111? Again thanks for the input!!

Welcome to the site.

Well stay away from belted cases if you can. Wby makes some fine products. If the 300 wby is too much kick you can put a brake on it. My 338-378 has less recoil then my 270. If you are worrried about brass prices i think the 7stw might be a good pick. Hear a lot about it, but have never shot it.
