Hey, I'm Steve, I live in South Western WA (the state). I'm just getting back into the modern firearms. I've been hunting with a muzzle loader for the last 4 years after a 15 year break from hunting. I've got a wife, and two curtain climbers. My newest toy of choice is a Weatherby Vanguard in 270 WSM. It's not stock anymore. Boyd's stock, Timney trigger.I bedded the pillars and the "lug?" with Marintex. I've got a Bushnell Banner 6-18x 50. I reload my own. The bullet I've been tinkering with is Remington brass, Remington Mag primer, 56.5 gr of H4350, 150 gr Berger VLD. I just got a chrono and have shot 4-5 through it seeing fps on average of 2900.
Most of my shooting has been at 200 yds. I hope to get out and pop some dogs with it this summer at long range.

Here's a pic of my Weatherby:

Welcome to Long Range Hunting Steve.gun)

Looks like you've got a pretty good rig there to get you started.

I won't hold it against you for living on the wrong side of the mountains;);)
