Keep us posted on performance
I'd be surprised if you hit 2900 with that set up. Beautiful rifle and definitely keep us posted on velocity. What powder you plan on running?Don't know yet. Will not shoot until tomorrow but I will report what I find on this thread. I wanted a short barrel and the goal was to reach 2,900' with it. Time will tell.
Oops your right. I have two antiX's also. I thought it was on one of them.Great looking rig. I believe that's the ruckus hunter though not an anti x action. I'm curious to see your velocities
H1000, N565 and N570 are the ones I am going to test.I'd be surprised if you hit 2900 with that set up. Beautiful rifle and definitely keep us posted on velocity. What powder you plan on running?
Dude I like to look good in the woods. If it shoots I may fold inlay it. LolLooks like a well built rifle. But, that shiny action has got to go. Or is that to spook them out a bit farther so you can test out the new loads?
75.0 grains just got 2751, 2757, 2759
On to the next
I have charges up to 78.5. COAL is 3.640"There's quite a bit of room for you to add powder. I'm at 78 grs with the same combo...I also load longer than saami w/nosler brass/215.
LolThat's a beautiful Rig and please I mean no offense but calling it a toy is really bothering me for some reason
I think that's an awesome Elk rifle. I have one of my own and love it. Getting parts together for a 300PRC to see how it compares in all ways to my 300WM. Not a replacement but rather an addition to my litter. So, The older I get and the wiser I decided to build a lighter, shorter and quieter rifle to carry. Hopefully this one will finish out my hunting days maybe except a barrel. Pretty slick I think. Starting pressure testing and breaking in barrel tomorrow. Gonna shoot 215 hybrids in it. 300 Win Mag 22" proof 9.4" twist. Anti X action, Trigger Tech special, Trash Panda Suppressor, HS Precision bottom metal and AG stock, NX8 4-32 to top it off. 10.6 pounds total as shown. What do y'all think?
