I have a new (just finished this week) Defiance long action. I ordered this for a lightweight build (was going to be a 280 AI), but in the meantime I purchased a lightweight 280 AI. Go figure….

This was spec’d with weight in mind. Therefore it has the sheep/port/facet, deep fluted bolt, aluminum Defiance picatinny and the aluminum bolt knob. It is also cut for BDM metal.

Here is the build list; the final price was $1400 from Defiance

Right, Long, 1.350 OD, 700 ID, Stainless Action
    1.403 Thread Depth, 16 TPI
    Right Port
    Sheep Port
    Full Round Rear Bridge
    Cut for Badger Mag Well
    Remington Style Safety
    Plunger Ejector
    Through Tang Screw Hole
    Remington Tang
    Defiance Bolt Stop
    .250 Recoil Lug and Pins
    Remington (Recessed Lugs) Bolt Nose
    Mini 16 Extractor
    Deep, Left Spiral Bolt Flutes
    Aluminum bolt handle knob
    .480 Bolt Face
Mill Standard 1913 Scope Mount - (Picatinny, aluminum) 10 MOA
Drill and Tap for 4 Scope Mount Screws
    Rear Scope Spacing - .605
    Sheep Facet
    Defiance Bolt Handle
    R-700 Bolt Shroud (Remington/Defiance), Aluminum

$1300 shipped to your FFL. USPS MO only. I’m not desperate to sell, I just don’t have any idea what to build on it right now. So I may as well offer it up here and save someone the wait.
