need performance reviews for sierra 35 cal 225gr

I'm heading up for bear this weekend and planning on using the sierra gameking 35 cal 225gr bullet shots could be from 50-300 yds how does this bullet perform? Hold together, over exspansion, under exspansion?
velocity is 2500 fps from a t/c encore 35 whelen AI pistol
