Montana prairie dogs?

Supposed to be going out to Montana this summer...mid June around the Livingston area and was wondering about prairie dogs out there. I figured if I was driving all the way out there for vacation I would drag along a couple rifles and see about popping some varmints.

Any input or info would be appreciated!

Drive east toward Big Timber. Look for public land or ask for permission.....Stay away from the prairie dog town near Springdale although tempting the dog town is no hunting.
