Helping my nephew"college student" put together a project he has a 6.5 X 300 Weatherby hunting weight rifle. Will be hunting Pronghorn, Whitetail and spring bear. We are trying to decide between The Minox 5-20x50 with BDC or the Vortex Viper PST 1 MOA reticle in a 4-16 or 6-24 version. I use the term we being that I'm the one paying for majoity of project. I have been using a nightforce 5.5-22 on my personal guns, I know the quality optics with Minox and Votex will be less because they are half the price. Any input will be appreciated thanks for your time.

If he'll be cranking the turrets I'd feel safer with the PST as I know they track consistently and reliably. I hear the Minox has good glass but I don't know of anybody who has cranked the turrets enough to prove them reliable for that type of use.
