Mech-Tech Carbine Conversion Unit (CCU) converts your 1911 Colt style 45ACP pistol into a short carbine. Will work with any officer/compact, commander or full size 1911 style frame. Overall length 33 ½" with 18" stainless match grade barrel and matte black flash hider. Wood stock and forearm. Scope or sights not included but comes with Weaver style sight rail to which various optical sights can be attached. This is NOT a complete firearm and requires the use of a 1911 style pistol frame to work. Requires no modifications to the pistol and is totally reversible. The resulting combination operates in semi-auto mode just as the pistol and fires the same 45ACP pistol ammunition at an increased velocity. No FFL required.
