I've tried multiple searches and can't seem to find the answer. I recently ordered a Terminus Zues LA and am now looking at stocks. If it's a clone of a Remington 700 why are there different ones for defiant/terminus/Bergara/CA? Are they easily adjusted from one to another? I have a guy who has 3-4 Rem LA McMillans he doesn't want anymore and I'm hesitant to rely on one of those fitting. TIA

There is a difference between foot print and clone. you will most likely find the action screw spacing, threads, and their nominal distance to the recoil lug match Rem 700. The stock difference's are usually the recoil lug width, the eject port and the handle slot.

Your Terminus Zeus LA will drop into any stock or chassis inletted for a Remington LA. The only differences are the Zeus has a .300" recoil lug, .200" longer ejection port~ .100" forward and .100" rearward from the centerline of the Remington, and a straight bolt handle.
It's a drop in.
