Max effective range of 168 Eld M in 308?

Here is my thought. How much vertical height is the bullet traveling to make the 750 compared to the 600? Could it be that the bullet we're hitting a different wind gust or more wind current since they were seeing a larger ark to get to the 750 point. I seen this when I was shooting at 400 and then ran out to 1000 yards. Bullets we're getting blown around a lot with what I was thinking there was a almost a no wind situation.

I have a PSS 1-12" 24" barrel so this isn't an apples to apples comparison. I took my 168 ELDM 2700 fps handloads out to just over 1300 yards before I noticed possible destabilization (2200 ft elevation). And about the same for my 168 CC handloads going about 2780 fps. I shot a 92 oz Tide bottle at 1112 yards with two of my handloads. 2 out of 5 shots hit for each load. 4-8 mph winds that day. The bottle is about 11 inches tall and 7 inches wide. I have 50 more of the ELDM's and will try to set up a better range going out to 1760 yards to see where the misses at consistent. Or even some paper targets if I feel really motivated lol. I'm pretty sure both center hits are my 168 CC's.
