I'm building a 6br using a Stiller TAC-30 and Bartlein 1:8 twist x28" barrel on a Manners T-4A stock.

The stock is inletted for BDL bottom metal.

It seems like there are plenty of options. But, does anyone have specific recommendations or experience as to bottom metal to make this a decent repeater?

It'll mostly be used on paper and steel at 500yds. But, it may be used for some varmint hunting.

A detachable magazine would be nice, but isn't a specific requirement.

thanks,
Richard

Yes. It's a 700 clone.

Pacific Tool looks good. That's where the reamer, bushings, etc came from anyway.

But, if someone was able to recommend a specific DM system that works really well (especially with 6br ...not sure if it's more or less prone to feeding issues) then, I would take a closer look.

I'll check out the ones you listed.

thanks!!
