Looking for a Ruger tang safety Right hand, Long action, LW or UL?

Picked up a sweet little M77 RSI/Mannlicher in 7x57 and would like to take that stock off to keep in great shape and replace with a Lightweight or Ultra light so I can hunt with it. These are new waters for me so not sure I can do that. Can anyone tell me if that is possible? Seems like it should be but maybe not? Thanks for any input.
