Like hunting subsonic suppressed? Here’s what is sounds like down range.

Hey all,

I stumbled across this video as I'm looking for more information about shooting and hunting sub loads out of my 300 blk. I got sucked into this video and found it interesting and convincing that short range sub hunting can and will give you follow up shots, if needed. I look forward to continuing my 300 blk project after watching this vid.

I shoot sub-sonic suppressed .22LR Norma Tac HPs. You can only hear the bolt slap when shooting them. They WRECK squirrels and rabbits.

So do the CCI Suppressor rounds for me. Even wrecks coyotes shot in the head.

Yes. They work great on deer 4 at 100 and 1 at 200 yds. Dead right there with good shot placement

I used cheaper rounds working up loads and the swap over when I get my velocity where I want it. Then load up and go. I started with 308 Winchester and got good results at 100 but accuracy dies off. I started on the 300 blackout.

I pulled targets in the pit on the 1000 yard range at Ben Avery once. My buddy was shooting a 308 Norma mag.
The crack of that bullet going overhead was pretty loud.

I just swapped out my 22-250 AI barrel for a 16" 300 BLK on my Zermatt TL3 tonight. Looking forward to shooting subsonic with it and my TBAC 338 Ultra. Planning on picking up a few for whitetails tags this fall just for subsonic hunting.

I use 308 Win. 190 Hornady subs. They shoot great to 150 yards. The buck I shot at 100 yards last season expired 15 feet after impact and the impact was louder than the shot.

Yes. Even shooting 190 Nos CCs, it will exit a broadside pig and kill the pig next to it.

I have done it successfully 3 times. Other times, couldn't confirm a 2nd kill.

They made some 240 gr SMKs for a while, can't find them now. I bought 1200 of them. They are just as deadly As a 190.
