Leupold VX-L Scopes

I am sure most of you guys have seen or heard about these new scopes. What do you all think about them. At our shop we have some of the 1" tube scopes in stock and I have gotten to see one of the 30mm prototypes. I am jsut curious about what you all would think about this kind of optic for a mean hunting rig???

I would think that both the 50mm and 56mm would be bright but they are also heavy, regardless of how low you can mount them.
Even for hunting the cedar swamps, (MI's black timber) the VXIII have always been bright enough for legal shooting hours.
