I have a Leupold VX III LR 30 Mill tube 4.5-14x40 with standard duplex crosshairs. Can any one tell me what the distance from the intersection of the crosshairs to the horizontal "thickening of the crosshairs" is on 14x at say 500 yards to 1000 in 100 yard increments. Thanks--JM.

Not on a 14x but the fixed 12Xs are 2MOA.You can find out by getting yourself a target marked out in inches and put it out exactly at 100 yards and set the scope to 14X.MOA is real close to inches and by maltiplying the figure you get @ 100 yards by the yardage you want to know its easy to figure. If it is 2" @ 100 it will be 4"@ 200 6" at 300 8" @ 400 and so on and so on.
Hope this helps.

It's probably on the Leupold website somewhere-- the catalog defintiely has that info. Don't have it with me right now tho. Bet the local gunshop has the Leupold catalog.
