how old is scope and have you had any problems with it. 406-229-0305, looking for my grandson

Purchased this scope in the mid 90's , sent it back to Leupold to change turrets from target to cds and switch out mil dot reticle to duplex . Great scope shot a lot of animals, tracks perfect

I have this scope also. It has target turrets. Tracks really great. Glass is very clear. I sent mine back to Leupold because I thought maybe the parallex was off. Could have been me or the scope. Anyway,Leupold checked it for free and sent it back to me. I asked Leupold about the black ring and they said it was pre Mark 4 scope. I don't think you would be disappointed with the scope. Free bump, enough rambling on my part.
