found this when going down the rabbit hole of weight alternatives to lead
looked at all the sand alternatives, heavy sand, etc and found this filled with steel shot- ballast, almost half the price of lead per lb(bass pro is $60+tax for 25lb) and is more than 2x the density of garnet/sand. zircon is a little more dense per lb but a lot harder to find. at least for me
in the lead sled bags i fit 20lb comfortably and could maybe go up to 22.
i dont know how to judge the shot size, but it was small. so used a ziploc in my bag. the wake board bag was well made if you just need a 50lb weight, carry handle straight off a seatbelt.
