Someone asked me this several days ago, and I have no clue as to the answer. How far out will a laser scope be useable in daylight? Who makes them? Fixed or variable power? Any negatives?

What are you calling a "laser scope". A scope with a built in laser rangefinder (with or without pointing correction)? A scope with a CCD or Intensifier that uses a laser for target illumination (Elcan DHDN for example)? A scope with a laser scintillation anemometer to measure downrange crosswinds? Laser target designation scopes (ideal for long range sniping) ? Or a simple laser pointing device, either visible or IR for use with NV goggles?

Can you post a URL to something like what you're talking about?

Negatives?
Anything with a laser uses batteries.
The daylight range and manufacturer depends on what kind of device.
