What kind of steel used in the CRKT m21-04 knife and where was it made?

What kind of steel used in the CRKT m21-04 knife and where was it made?

The blade does not indicate the steel composition that I can tell but it does say Taiwan for the location. When I looked it up, various sites show the blade being 8Cr14MoV Stainless Steel.
