Kestrel for Leica 2800.com

So I've had some time with my Leica 2800 and I'm thinking a kestrel would be a nice addition to the rangefinder. theres a couple units with the link, one with applied ballistics, one with Hornady 4dof . $200 difference in price. what model would be Best Buy? I'm a hunter, not looking for a mile or more system. Thanks

I had the same 2800.com and worked great with my kestrel 5700 elite. The 5700 elite will do everything you want and more. It leaves you room to grow on in the future. I sold the 2800 and regret it and will be replacing it now. The two linked up were great in my opinion. I have the kestrel setup with multiple rifles and two hunting rifles that I use two different loads for. That thing even let's you dial in your dope and helps create a more realistic poi with the rifle and load. Hard to beat.
