If you could only have 3 long guns, which would you choose?

Tough one there, 22lr, .223 Rem., 28 Nosler. Hate not having a shotgun, but can't do without a varmint round

Sharps .45-70 w/black powder cartridge paper patched bullets, CZ457 .22LR, Mossberg Maverick 12ga.

204 ruger, fast, flat and cheap to load! 22LR just for fun gun, 243 one of the best all around hunting, flat shooting and plenty big when you load your own!

Since the question was what three rifles??, not calibers here's mine... Mod 700 Remington in 338 RUM, Mod 70 Winchester in 264 Win Mag, and Mod 700 Rem in 223 Rem. And I own all three...plus many others,,,

270 Win, 300 Win or Weatherby, and Probably 375 Ruger cover all the big and dangerous game I would ever hunt.
Your are all so large?
Gotta go with Mountain Sloth.
Of course, the 300 PRC today is essentially the 300Weatherby with a fast twist barrel and reasonably priced brass. Properly hand loaded the 300PRC could cover most of the 375 Ruger in a pinch, and with a muzzle-brake it's a "270" for most any medium game at reasonable ranges.

So with the 300, maybe go up to a 416Rigby hand-loaded (the 416Ruger is OK as a lighter-carry substitute), for bigger stuff. And a 223 or 243 for little stuff.
But most of my old-fashioned life has found the 270Win, 338WM, and 416Rigby to cover everything.

So you can't go wrong with a 270, 300, and 375.

Easy for me. #1 A .270 Win in a Weatherby Mark V Ultralight rifle; #2 A 270 Weatherby Mag ,in a Weatherby Mark V 26 inch Bbl in a full sized rifle; and #3 300 Weatherby Mag, Weatherby Mark V also with a 26-inch Bbl. These three rifles and calibers would cover 95 percent of my Hunting needs. Then I would probably miss my short 30-06 Woods rifle, but you said only 3.
