If you could only have 3 long guns, which would you choose?

First gun I bought was a twelve gauge shotgun. It was quite a while before I could add the 30-06 for deer hunting up north. Then I added a .50 cal muzzleloader to take advantage of the black powder season. Those 3 guns kept me going for quite a while. Guess I would stick with 'em if shotguns and muzzleloaders count in this survey. If they don't I would add a .22 LR and a .223.

since you said 3 calibers I'm assuming we don't count the 12 gauge and 22LR we all must own :) therefore choosing from CURRENT inventory I would have to keep my 22-250 (varmints, etc), 7mm RM (Scoped long Range), and my 300 Savage (2.5x scope, Short-Medium Range).
If I had no centerfire firearms at all, and was to purchase 3 new guns they would probably be an AR with .223 Wylde Chamber, a 7mm RM with a brake that weighted under 8 pounds scoped, and a .338 WM. I appreciate many other fantastic cartridges, however these are all easy to find ammo for in a pinch(or apocalypse), and perform great in their categories.

22-250, 7mmRm, 45-70, assuming you already have a 22lr and a 12ga/410/20ga.
on second thought the old savage model 24 over under!!! 2 for one!! 22 LR, 22 WMR, .22 Hornet, .222 Rem, .223 Rem, .30-30 Win, .357 Magnum, and .357 Max, And the lower shotgun barrels were chambered for .410 gauge, 20-gauge, and 12-gauge. triple deuce would be nice with a 20ga.

If I could only have three choices.....would I get rid of my 22, 22 mag, 17 Remington, 223, 22-250, 220 Swift, 6BR, 6 Ackley, 6.5-285, 6.8 SPC, 270 Winchester, 300 Blackout, 308 Win, or 338 Win Mag. Does the question include shotguns as well ? I couldn't limit myself to just 3 choices.
