HS Precision Rifle Feedback

Looking to purchase a quality rifle for elk hunting.

I have been eyeing a HS Precision SPL in 7STW since this caliber has been recommended and HS Precision guarantees 1/2 inch accuracy.

What do you think?

Anyone have any experience or heard anything good or bad about these rifles?

I used to own an HS Precision 7mm WSM. I only had one complaint about the rifle, and that was their teflon coating was simply horrible. But that was about 10 years ago, and I would guess that they've improved on that by now.

In terms of the overall performance, the rifle was really put together. It shot just about any load well, and when I took the time to dial one it it was amazing. Definitely shot max velocity loads very accurately (1/2 moa or better).

I sold the rifle to fund a full custom build, so nothing against the rifle. Customer service was pretty good too.
