Hodgdon and Alliant to Cease Propellent Production???

Posted on a UK shooting forum and from an alleged very reliable source, Hodgdon and Alliant to cease propellant production.
Has anyone heard anything similar? any comments?

Hodgdon bought out Alliant,but to the best of my knowledge is still being produced under the Alliant name.

I new Hodgdon purchased Winchester and IMR Powder Co, but I was unaware they purchased Alliant as well. When did this happen??
