I'm selling a fine custom hunting rifle for about half what it cost new.
This is a Tuebor Precision custom build. Here are the details…
Action: Tuebor Raider Titanium Action
Barrel: 23" Bartlein 8 Twist – 3B contour with deep spiral fluting. Threaded 5/8x24 with thread protector.
Trigger: Jewel
DBM: Curtis Customs Detachable Bottom Metal – Accepts AICS mags
Stock: Manners EH6 with Sling studs on the bottom and flush cups on the left side.
Bedding: Done by Tuebor precision at the time of the build.
This rifle can be seen featured on the top banner of Tuebor precisions website. This rifle shoots as good as it looks. With the Hornady Precision Hunter 143 Eldx factory ammo it's a legitimate quarter minute rifle. The groups pictured are with my hand loads that mimic the Hornady factory load. I also worked up a load with RL26 that shoots the 140 Berger Elite Hunter at 2880 fps. This load is not quite as accurate as the 143 ELDx load, but still shoots around 0.5-0.6 MOA, and bucks the wind where the Wyoming antelope live quite well.
The rifle has just under 500 rounds down the barrel. There are a few light handling marks as you'd expect from a rifle that's been hunted with. But nothing significant. The weigh as it is pictured if 6.9 lbs and it makes a very nice, light, slim hunting rifle. One note about the flush cups on the left side. I added these myself, and because the shell on the stock is thin they had to sit a bit proud of the stock. I've done many sets of flush cups and they don't look bad or get in the way, but they aren't perfect because I couldn't seat them all the way flush, so I wanted to disclose that.
Price shipped to your FFL: $2800
I have 200 pieces of Lapua LRP brass for this rifle that can be purchased separately. 100 pcs are once fired, 100 pcs are new with CCI 200 primers in them. Price $150.
In terms of trades there are some specific things I'd consider…
-Defiance Anti-X XM length action with mag bolt face
-Leupold Mark 5 HD 3.6-18x44 in MOA with illumination
-Timney Calvin Elite Triggers
- Berger 6mm 108 grain elite hunter bullets
- Berger 7mm 195 grain elite hunter bullets
- Berger 6.5mm 140 grain elite hunter bullets
- Hornady 6.5mm 143 ELDx bullets
- Sierra Tipped Match King .224 69 grain bullets
- Hornady 7mm-08 150 ELDx Precision Hunter factory ammo
- 12 Gauge Trap loads 8 or 7.5 shot
