help on chooosing a chronograph

I bought a PACT Model 1XP with standard screens - compared to the OEHLER model 33 that my family shares - it is a piece of junk. It is very tempermental, missing fired rounds on a regular basis. I have yet to figure out how to get reliable service from it. I am thinking about dumping it on e-bay as I would be to embarassed to sell to anyone here on this forum.
