I am looking at 2 range finders. A Nikon Monarch 800 or a Bushnell Legend 850 ARC. The Bushnell has the ARC which I would like but the monarch 800 is a nicer range finder I feel. I have used a Monarch 800 before and really liked it and I have used older Bushnell but none with ARC. I can get the Bushnell for $100 or $110 for the Nikon monarch. Neither are used much and both come with boxes. Just looking for feedback from those more experience RF users. Thanks! Mostly used for bow hunting but I do some a goo bit of long distance rifle as well

Bama, the Nikon quality should serve you well. A RF with stated 800 yard reach in all practicality will be consistent to 600 - 650. Most units are advertised by the max range under ultra ideal conditions. If you are looking to reach 1000 reliably, go with a 1200 yard unit. Good luck
