Hey guys, just wanted to say hello to you all! Located in Eastern NC. I look forward to hearing from you guys and learning a thing or two. Currently, my long range rig is a Remington 700, .308, in a McMillan A4 stock. Shoots very well with hand loads and it's pretty darn fun to shoot! Thanks for having me on the forum!gun)

Welcome to LongRangeHunting Brent. That's one gun that you'll have a tough time wearing out the barrel on.

Yeah, its a beautiful gun. I will say, despite its use in the military, the .308 is not a good choice in my opinion for anything over 650 yards. It will hit accuratly much farther but does not have the energy. Thanks for the warm welcome!
