Hello all,
I'm a career fireman with a passion for firearms coming at you from Baltimore, Maryland. Although there isn't much long range hunting to be had in the city, I am interested in learning more about long range ballistics and shooting. My starter rifle is a savage 111 magazine fed 30.06 Springfield with a sporter profile barrel. I bedded the action, weighted and reinforced the stock and added a bipod, paint job, and Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x40 mil-dot reticle scope on leupold rings.
Any advise from the veteran shooters among the group would be greatly appreciated!
