Beautiful deer.What state was it shot? I shot a dark faced one like that a number of years ago

How did the bullet perform? How far was the shot and did you get a complete pass through?

I just worked up a load using the 80gr HH for my 6GT. It shoots in the .3's with single digit ES/SD but I havent shot anything with it yet.

50 yds yes it exited haven't had a hammer not to exit on a broad side shot! Killed tons of deer and hogs with 22 cal hammers. Serval from 400/600 yds with my 22 saum running the 73 Ah. The 80 hh should work great!

Wonder what the state was? Haven't seen him chime in on it. Sure would be a nice shoulder mount. Nice and dark face.

Foliage looks odd to me, seems like it had to be early in the year but that's based on how green things are in the pick.

The big 22's (Swift and 22/250) are way underappreciated as killers! We use the 22/250 for 90% of our game taking and they flat out work great to 500.

Would love to hear more about the hunt.
