Has anyone tried us869 powder

I can't speak for the 33's on how well it will work for those but I'm thinking it may be too slow for them. Maybe someone will chime in and give a little experience with those. But it should do well in the 30cal. I would also say a powder that's a little faster burn would work for the 30 cal better than us869 like Retumbo 565 568 570 and similar

US869 was my only powder for my 30-378 first 28 inch and later replaced with a 30. Also my 338 L

Retumbo is NOT a good powder for heavy 30-378. I couldn't get the velocity or accuracy. I actually ruined a bunch of cases trying to perfect it. The pressure was much higher with retumbo to match the US

I had only 9 twist so I was limited to 220 target and 210 for hunting. The 210's were the best for all north American game and Plains game in Africa.

Mine likes 165 to 200 grain that's kinda why I'm looking to get velocity right now I got a load very accurate. But was lucky firt load I tried but I am loading 122 grains and the information I got was 123.5 to max with only 48,800 pressure just curious how far I could take to about 60,000 pressure

30 378 , 338 378 and 338 rum
For my 30/378 US 869 shot my best group ever @ 500yds with 210 Bergers, but three months later and 35 degree warmer the groups went south. NOT temp stable.

Works fine in large magnums, that is what it was designed for. Only problem is it takes alot of it to push the 250 + projectiles 104 gr U.S.869 vs 89 of 7828 ssc or 91 of H1000. Good accuracy though.

I've tried it in 28 Nosler and 300 Rum with 195's in the 28 and 212's in the Rum. Even using a drop tube and vibrating the case I can't get enough of it in the case to get the speed I can get out of slightly faster powders, nor will it generate any pressure signs at all. Too slow for the cases I have tried it in or my cases are too small for the powder, either way.
