Has anyone tried the federal TLR?

This happens to be the most accurate bullet in my rifle, in 308. It is a 175 grain bullet. I recently bought about 10 boxes and now it turns out that federal is discontinuing the TLR and coming out with an upgraded bullet called the ascent or something like that. Has anyone ever used the TLR for game, and have results? I might just stick with what I have because I hate to just shoot off the TLR stuff at paper and buy the new ascent ammo. Thanks

Haven't used it on game myself but I have recovered a few bullets at 700 yards (200 grain), expansion was beautiful.
There's a few articles from guys using them in Africa out around 1k.
I'm excited about the future line, hoping they add a 250 ish 338 bullet to the mix

I love the bullet design and the terminal performance. Just wish they would make a heavier 6.5 and 7mm bullet.
