SOLD/EXPIRED Hard to find products thread

Black Sheep in Coeur D Alene just opened doors in the former Sportsmans wharehouse, was there just last sat. lots of Powders and primers. BS has expanded well in the new bldg for them. 32 lbs of mixed powders for me on this trip back. It was great to see. Try Big R stores in MT and ID also, picked up some in Havre too.

This is good news do have a black sheep close to home. Give Cabelas a little compete if it makes a difference. They aren't the cheapest place anymore.

Cheers

I don't know about the rest of you but I had a heck of a time finding one of Hornady's Modified cases in 223 for their overall length gauge. Thanks to the generosity of a fellow forum member taking his time and talent to make me a case out of one of my fired cases I now have one. As if that was not enough he made some extras. These are Federal brass and are fire formed to my chamber, but you could do a full length resize to make it fit any factory 223 chamber. If you need one shoot me a PM. No charge for the case, but if you can help out with the shipping that would be great. Thanks again to this forum and it's members.

One store in Tulsa still has and has had anything you could want, but they have marked everything up so much it's hard for me to even go there unless I absolutely have to have something; $38 bucks a pound for powder is too much.

Will they ship powder?

Thanks

Not sure you can Google Dong's of Tulsa and check out their inventory. Fong Dong was the name of the guy that started the shop explaining the strange name.

Thanks I have their contact info. They say they have it on their site. They were asking $55 a lb but have dropped it to $39. That is not far over going rate and is cheaper than some I have bought by $5. But they will not ship powder so I am out there.

Thanks!!
Jeff

People around here don't even know about the place even though they've been in business over 40 years. I get some strange looks when i tell them where they can find their stuff. With a name like that you better have inventory.
